Q4 2025 Release Notes

This release focuses on stability, performance, and usability improvements across the platform. We have resolved issues affecting reporting stability, dashboard loading, and access control, while delivering a wide range of UI polish and developer experience improvements.

Stability & Reliability: We've implemented high-impact fixes to ensure API reliability, improved dashboard layout behavior, and increased resilience in the rules engine.

Research and Notes
We've focused on improving how you interact with and manage your research and notes, ensuring data integrity and smoother workflows.

  • Support has been added for commenting directly on files.
  • We resolved an issue where research templates were failing to load.
  • Fixed an issue causing Note List pagination to fail on the Home screen.
  • Addressed an error caused by notes containing identical embedded images.
  • Fixed an issue where fields were missing from the Quick View/Edit interface.
  • Resolved a data loss issue affecting Dynamic List Options fields.
  • Added placeholder text to the note body for better visual guidance.
  • Improved the spacing of tasks within notes.
  • Navigation errors that occurred when tagging notes have been fixed.
  • Ensured notes created from events correctly retain the calendar tag.
  • Resolved an issue where deleted research would remain visible in filtered lists.

Search and Filtering
This release includes several enhancements to make searching for content and applying filters more reliable and dynamic.

  • Fixed an issue where custom research filters were failing to load.
  • Resolved an issue where clicking keyword search results for attachments would open the old PDF viewer.
  • Adjusted token spacing in universal search and fixed a glitch when resetting filters.
  • Fixed an issue where related table values would disappear after applying filters.

Rules and Automation
We've added more stability to the rules engine to ensure automation runs smoothly without interruption.

  • Fixes were implemented to prevent rules from stopping after an uncaught error.
  • Restored functionality for specific rule actions and ensured the "Change-field" action works for existing rules.
  • The Email List action now correctly includes metadata.
  • Fixed issues with the "Notify" action message settings and corrected the rendering of text fields in Quick Edit.
  • Corrected the visibility of labels within the rules engine.

UI and Experience
We've made several impactful changes to improve the overall user experience, particularly regarding dashboard layouts and visual stability.

  • Added a vertical split option for the attachment preview pane.
  • Resolved an issue causing dashboards to flicker.
  • Fixed issues where projects were not loading on dashboard views and Fund Profile Dashboards were failing to load.
  • Resolved a failure in the Report Runner and ensured general reports are working as expected.
  • Resolved an issue where duplicated unsaved components would lose their size settings and history icons would overflow field labels.
  • Fixed an issue where Scorecards could break the dashboard layout.

User Management and Security
We have refined permissions and contact management to be more reliable.

  • Restored reliability for Excel Field Sync.
  • Fixed a security permission issue where usergroup-limited projects were still accessible.
  • Resolved an issue where the "Remember Device" 2FA option was not working for some users.
  • The user group dropdown no longer detaches during scrolling.
  • Restored reliability for contact editing functions.
  • Event location updates no longer inadvertently wipe other field values.
  • Resolved Out of Memory (OOM) errors that caused some project grids to crash.
  • Fixed an issue where sorting contacts by company would cause the application to freeze.
  • Resolved an issue where contacts were not loading correctly from universal search results.
