v4.0 Release Notes: Toro AI Assistant
about 1 month ago by Bipsync
This latest release of Toro focuses on making the research assistant’s interface more intuitive, further improving timeframe querying, and drastically improving how it understands your natural, conversational requests.
User Interface Enhancements
- Easier Feedback Submission: We've made it easier to let us know how the assistant is doing. The thumbs-up and thumbs-down feedback icons are now permanently visible on all chat responses, rather than only appearing when you hover over a message.
- Clearer Message Editing: Editing your chat history is now a smoother visual experience. When you go back to edit a previous message in your conversation, any subsequent messages will visually fade out, making it immediately clear where you are editing and how it impacts the rest of the chat.
Smarter Search & Chat Interactions
- Conversational Language Filtering: You can now speak to the assistant more naturally. We've improved the assistant's ability to filter out common conversational filler words and phrases (such as "show me the research" or "what are we working on"), preventing them from confusing your actual search parameters and ensuring highly relevant results.
- Smarter Date & Time Searches: Searching for notes across specific timeframes is now much more accurate. The assistant has an improved understanding of complex date requests (e.g., "List all notes from March and June") and will apply the most appropriate date filters to find your research faster.
- Improved Team References: We've refined how the assistant interprets pronouns and group references. When you ask the assistant to summarize notes that "my team" has worked on, it will now more accurately identify and include the correct user groups without leaving anyone out.
*** (Note: This release also includes several behind-the-scenes stability improvements, data handling corrections, and bug fixes to ensure your AI assistant runs as smoothly and reliably as possible.)
