Bipsync Browser Extension

Requirements

• Google Chrome (desktop)
• A Bipsync account

Installation

1. Open the Bipsync Web Clipper listing on the Chrome Web Store
2. Click Add to Chrome
3. Click Add extension in the confirmation dialog
4. The Bipsync icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar

Tip: If you don't see the icon, click the puzzle piece (Extensions) icon in the toolbar and pin Bipsync Web Clipper.

Signing In

1. Click the Bipsync icon in the toolbar — the side panel will open
2. Click Sign In
3. Enter your Bipsync credentials in the browser tab that opens
4. Once authenticated, you'll be returned to the extension and can start clipping

Using the Clipper

• Clip a web page — Navigate to any article or page, open the side panel, and click Clip this page
• Clip selected text — Highlight text on a page before clipping to capture only the selection
• Clip an email — Open Gmail, then open the side panel — the button changes to Clip this email with an option to clip the full thread
• Keyboard shortcut — Press Alt+Shift+B to open the side panel from any tab

After clipping, you can edit the title, add tags, and set sharing permissions before saving to Bipsync.
